Absolutely perfect e28. I always forget about this thread, click on this thread, drop my jaw, and then comment yet again.

I want that rack!

You really did a nice job with this, looks awesome! Although I may be a bit biased chassis/color wise :P

haha thanks man! I appreciate the love. I seem like I can never make up my mind about the rack, I end up pulling it off then putting it back on quite a lot. I can't decide which way looks good haha

Thank you! I'd like to get some new wheels on her someday to go a little wider, but i guess it'll have to do for now. And its not fault you have excellent taste in chassis and color

Default Small, boring update...

So I have been out of town and hurt for a while so I haven't been doing much work on the car. This past weekend, as I was headed to Ukiah to put on a clinic I ended up cracking my pan right out of Sacramento . I had to leave it down in Sac in a friends parking spot for two days while I was in Ukiah, and finally got it home yesterday. Going to find a pan tomorrow and hopefully getting it in so we can play again

Once I get it back together I need to put my thinking cap on and engineer a crazy impervious super thin skid plate (quite the contradiction), because pulling m30 pans suck.

Thanks man, I also am wanting new wheels and to be lower! If the pans in our cars weren't so low or fragile I would be more inclined but as of right now its not the most drivable so I am trying to think of a different direction to go as far as the stance. We'll see though.

I was attempting to drive a 3 hour road trip with a flawed skid plate design and too much weight in the car and hit a bridge transition (those nasty asphalt to concrete ones) and pushed the skid plate up into the pan. And thanks man, I appreciate it.

Just got home from a road trip down to San Diego and back. We took PCH all the way down and 99 back up, 1,220 miles round trip and the car did awesome, I'm very proud of her. We had a little hiccup with the thermostat and fan clutch, but that was simple. Now She just needs a bath

I know cars is'nt a competition, but you won man!
Amazed how well you managed your fitment, it's also some serious inspiration seeing as I'm also trying to fit 11,5" to my E28. How big are your lips? I have four inches but yours look wider.

Anyways, amazing work! Love the e12 mirror!
