Laura the Bora
Hey guys. Thought I'd start up a thread of my UK Bora! I won't say much, but I'll let the pictures do most the talking! Bare with me, there's loads!
Bought it like:
Then started vinyling/carbon fibre wrapping bits
Bought some TT comps, sprayed them VW Indigo blue
Got a 4motion splitter and private plate.
Bought some Recaro's ridiculously cheap
Got some JOM coilovers fitted and fitted the wheels
Then crashed
Got her resprayed, smaller tyres and lowered a little and gave her a 2 day detail
Then got some of my fave wheels, BBS RSII's. Had been after some for a long time, got these cheap!
Lowered her some more, but was getting lots of driveshaft rubbing, and was sitting poo
So got a chassis notch done, fitted a whiteline arb and raised the engine 25mm
Got the front all the way down, and the rears down with helpers and adjusters still in
Detailed it again before GTI Inters
Got an EGR delete kit
Went for a shoot
Then went to edition38 etc, and decided I need to go lower, so removed the rear adjusters and the front helpers
Rolled my arches, built a sub enclosure, upgraded my door speakers and finished my interior trims
Last pic I got of her before I crashed! lol.
Got some VRS spiders, so is now in winter mode
[B]Fitted the US bump strip, with the side markers, pics below.
[/B
Had it remapped and a Decat done!
As you can see, it's looking quite sorry for itself atm lol, been prepping the bumper for the respray! Currently in the bodyshop at the moment!
Also currently refurbing the BBS, polishing the lips and centres, along with painting the centres Audi Daytona Grey! Here's a pic of how they will look, on the car
And a quick chop of how it will look when its all finished in a month or so!

(Plan to run it as close to that height as I can, static)
Got quite a few more bits to do, and bits to buy!, will keep you posted
Cheers for looking and bearing with me! Took a while to get the pics together haha!
Arun
