Default 2001 AMU TT Build

Well I figure I would post my progress so I can see how far I have come from stock. So here she is my Black 2001 Audi TT 225 Quattro 6 speed.

So far done to the car:

Black wheels (Fat 5's)
Tinted sidemarkers
Tinted tails (previous owner)
A pillar boost gauge
Debadged rear
Carbon fiber diffuser
tinted windows

This was how the car looked when I first picked it up. With 98K on the clock at the time.

Now with painted wheels and a few updates

The fat 5's were pretty badly curbed by the previous owner. So I figured a decent black paintjob would make them less noticable.

Today I picked up an early christmas present though

Porsche BBS 2pc. mesh.
18x7.5 and 18x10

205's in the front 235's on the rear.

I picked up an a6 for dirt cheap so I decided to to use that for winter time.

Now I can work on my car and decide which route I want to go for suspension. The TT will be back out to play in spring time

Peace everyone

Yep

Got everything mounted. Needed a spacer + my adapter to fit the rear past the shock.

Got everything mounted today but ran into an issue with the rear wheel. It hit the shock, so I have a little ghettoness going on. I re-used the spacer and mounted that + the adapter. At least it fits well. I think Im going to use the rear adapter in the front and order some larger ones for the rear.

the car will look sweet after you fix the 2 major problems solved:

in that order.

Bought the wheels that way (with the tires)

And yes the diffuser is wrapped. Even the real ones look rather crappy. I will be putting a 3.2 Honeycomb diffuser once I get my wheels finished up..

New pictures with it dropped. The wheels are currently getting refinished (Centers powdered) They are all apart and will be done by the 28th. I am polishing the lips myself.

And now to my updated pictures. Got coils installed and front aligned. I need to modify my sway bar endlinks yet and the front can go down another couple threads as well.

Enjoy, Once everything is put together I will be updating the thread.

Just some basic fk streetlines. This was my first set of coils, but Im suprised the rear got as low as it did. Rides much better because my rear springs were actually snapped and the rear shocks were 100% blown.
