Starting What I Came Here For.
Well I joined this site in hopes of rekindling my passion for cars. Daily i look through builds, read posts, get ideas, etc. Last week a good friend of mine had contacted me and told me he was selling his 1985 BMW E30 with an M50 swap. It's a car i had been around for quite sometime and grew to love. He said to me there wasn't anybody else he'd rather sell the car to because he knew my passion for the automotive world. I was absolutely flattered but a little short on cash. What seemed to be a miracle and something that was just absolutely meant to be i was able to find a friend to buy my current car and give me the funds to purchase the One Family owned BMW this upcoming friday. I can't even begin to describe how lucky and amazing the feeling is that i have. This will be my first european car and surely not my last, but one thing thats for sure is this car will never be sold again. I will leave you with a photo of how he built it, it will not have the euro bumpers or wheels as i will take it in my own direction. I hope you all have some ideas to throw out there and appreciate my intentions for the car. Thank you for taking the time to read this and i can't wait to get this started.

So today is the big day when the car finally falls into my possession. Unfortunately i won't be getting it til late tonight so it's current state pictures probably won't happen until tomorrow. I've been in search of some temporary wheels but haven't had much luck yet. I still have an idea for what my serious wheels are going to be but that will probably be a little later down the road. For now i am going to focus on fixing the non working Blaupunkt radio and sourcing some euro bumpers and S52 cams. I've decided to keep the M50 in there with cams, intake, and exhaust done by myself. Im really looking forward to this car and can't wait to give it my own personal touches.

I wouldn't change a thing with the body. Please leave it!
Wheels are easily changed, though. I like it the way it sits, honestly... but I'm simple like that. Looks good.

My buddy that im getting it from actually scored a set of euro bumpers today for cheap so its staying as is! The only thing that will be changed are the wheels and the performance mods.

I coulda sworn Cory said he was keeping the Euro bumpers when I saw him last sunday But if he managed to get another set thats awesome. Still cant believe he sold it. That thing is so minty. His new E23 is so boss it doesnt matter I guess..and he did have the E30 for like 8 years.

Yeah, a couple posts up i said that Cory had found a set of euro bumpers for cheap. He scooped them up for me so that i'll still have euro bumpers on the car. As for the E23 i can't even say enough about that car. I can't wait for when it's finished.

Garbage camera phone picture before the darkness set in. Can't wait to start playing with wheel ideas in the spring.
