Wow this is going to be ridiculously awesome. The work you do is amazing and the plans you have are even better, especially the tucked tube frame and clearance work. I really can't wait to see what you do with the fenders. Radiused to all hell I'm assuming?

PLEASEEE put the wheel on!Originally posted by JC.'Stance' doesn't have to be scraping your car along the floor, that is simply the scene that has caught on. As long as your car looks amazing (in your eyes) while your rolling down the street, that is your own personal perfect stance.
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

I wish it didn't take so long to get parts! Believe me, if everything was here it's all I would do. So many things parts rely on other things that you really can't just do it without knowing how it will fit with other parts, or whatever the case might be.
There is basically going to be two stages to this build... the "It just doesn't matter/for fun" phase, and eventually the "end result." Right now we're beginning phase one... 4-5 wheel adapters, modified suspension regardless of geometry, Stock L28 inline 6 with custom tubular exhaust manifold, custom intake manifold plumbed for nitrous, 5 speed T5 transmission, etc...
Along side this I will be fabricating a complete tube frame with roll cage which will hold the 1.5UZ V8 (1UZ bottom end with larger 2UZ heads, which is already being built), 180 degree twin turbo exhaust manifold, twin GT40-88's (or equiv. technology has taken off the past couple years) T56 6-speed, completely new double A-arm suspension and shocks, modern rear diff and axles from an FD3S or similar (this is still up in the air) and so on.

Until then, I'll be working on the new tubular exhaust manifold which will use a 6-1 collector to top end, and be done entirely out of pie-cuts. Here are a few shots of the collector we finished tonight...
Each piece is first modeled in SolidWorks and laser cut using the parasolid file, so what you end up with is exact to within .002"

Fit up is absolutely perfect.

The outlet and each runner are capped and collector is purged.

I will be ordering the wheel adapters/spacers in a few days, so in a few weeks you will see the rear wheels under the car, actually bolted up, and roughly 2" lower then it sits currently.
