Amazing work as everyone has said. I just can't help but feel I'm not going to like how it looks once it's finished. Since you're making shorter A arms for the rear anyways, why not get the axles shortened as well so the track width won't be as wide and you can fit more of the wheel under the car? The front wheels are completely forward of the engine as well so you could bring them in more to match.
If you still really want the width you're going for, why not cut the body down the center and widen the whole thing rather than just the fenders?
Those are my thoughts, but it's not my car so take them as you will. I'll still keep checking in for updates no matter what you do.

I agree with you. The body mods may end up being too radical. I'd like to see it retain a bit more of the Z's shape personally. However, I have see a Z that was cut down the center and widened and trust me, it was not pretty. To put it bluntly, it was fucking ugly.
I'm still interested to see what he does with it though. Too many Zs these days seem to be owned by poor teenagers with poor taste, or old backwoods rednecks with poor taste. I like that he's using his talents to bring something new to the Z car scene.

True, but adding 2 inches down the middle would remove 1 inch of flair each side of the car, and not disturb the original "z" lines too much, while giving the archers a slightly more subtle flair without losing much of the aggression this car will have

As fare as I can tell by having read the whole thread, he does not do the welding him self. Another person who works in their shop does the welding. I may be wrong.

I do understand that the work being done here is top notch.
How ever its still super funny to go through multiple pages of guys wanting to perform certain love acts for this guy because some one knows how to use a TIG machine.
