  • Lexus IS220 into VIP style - first bagged in Ireland

I want to show my progress on VIP style make...from first day till today:
    Basic car:

So, first I bought vip wheels -
    19" Work Euroline DH
    spec:
    19x9 +30 front
    19x10 +25 rear
    Pic of wheel:

Like You see corrosion start eating clear coat:

So first step was refinish the centers. Clear coat removed with paint stripper:

    Next, sanded down all corrosion:

Wheels was in brushed aluminium effect, I love that type of finish and I decided to keep same effect.
It's impossible to make perfect effect by hand. I lift up the back of the car I make wheels spinning and I touch with 240 grid sandpaper:

Then some polish with metal polish compound

Next some oil and grease remover to prepare wheel for painting:

And rim ready to go to workshop:

    And group pic:

Some masking and next wheel was sprayed with Adhesion Promoter ( clear primer ) for metals:

After that some finish with paint (silver/grey) on the sides of spokes and clear coat.

    Tyres:
    Falken 452
    215/35/19 front
    235/35/19 rear
    So that mean........ stretch

I decide to change size of number plate so bumper goes to respray, full of stone chips and ash. Old holes of plate holder was removed, after clearcoat and polishing Im gonna put a clear protection film:

And some spy shoots of what Im doing to spray all engine bay covers

And the grill soround and engine cover painted in body color:

While the bumper was sprayed I decide to refresh fog lights. All in ash and stone chips.

                      So some sanding

                      And polishing:
