  • My bagged mk2 ph1 clio 172

Thought it was about time i put up a thread about my car! been lurking for a while now so here it is

    its a 2000 reg renault sport clio 172 mk2 ph1

this is how i bought it a year ago

then the tinkering started! started off as just general tidying up, then got out of hand!

    momo team 280 wheel

    clio v6 handles

trimmed the interior plastics and headliner in black suede

    compbrake solid top mounts

    omp rear strut brace

    toyo sports 182 manifold

new wheels and rubber, axis og1's 15x8's with nankang ns2 tyres, 185/45's

    trial fitting

fitted new black carpet, old one was blue?!

fitted 4 degree camber shims on the rear

picked up a facelift rear bumper

    painted wheels and fitted tyres

painted the inlet manifold and got a carbon engine cover just to tidy things up

    tpi polarised wheel bolts

havair airide kit on remote with custom gaz struts

k-tec racing supersports stealth exhaust system

    sparco snap off boss kit

rear build with air tank and strut brace colour coded to wheels

    front and rear bumpers smoothed

i think thats pretty much it, so heres some pics how its stands today

more changes to come soon, thanks for looking

What's stopping the front from going lower? Bumper needs to be on the floor once aired out then itd be even cooler. Awesome Clio otherwise man

At first i thought you can't make something good-looking out of one of those. You definitely changed my mind. This came out really, really good.

when its fully aired out it sits on the exhaust cat, so need to decat it then will go lower. also going to notch the front strut bolt holes for a bit of camber to get the tyres tucking as the arches sit on them at the mo.

                          thanks all for the comments

rear sits really well, but the front needs to come down but by the sounds of it youve got it sussed.
Cant help but think some legit wheels would really complete it though.
                            Keep up the good work
