Ok so I have been visiting this site on the daily and checking out builds and wheels while bored at work, so I figured its about time I joined up and showed my current build/wheel collection.

I picked up this car about 8 or so months ago and have been modifying it little by little as I go being as Im a broke a** college student haha. Heres the progress so far... and a few things that are on the way Im hoping to have her stanced and poking in the next two to three weeks. And finally have a real car to drive down to H20i

Heres how she looked day one when I picked her up, sorry for the crappy Iphone quality
    [IMG][/IMG]
    [IMG][/IMG]

Its a 92 300e 2.6; black on grey, two-tone paint. Interior is peanut-butter brown, or for the benzworld purists who might be lurking on here palomino tan.

Then I started with some simple mods first up blacked out the grill...
    Before: [IMG][/IMG]
    During: [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
    After: [IMG][/IMG]

Also picked up the euro-tag, then went a little wheel crazy, don't have pics of all of them on my car because well some I never even ran I just sold, but anywho heres my collection old and current.

    [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Then decided to go with a little different look, and decided it was time to finally lower the car. So I picked up these to get low and also just ordered some number 1 pads for all four corners hopefully il get them in this week. [IMG][/IMG]

Then I picked up some adapters for $120 on my local CL specs are:
    (2) 20mm 5x112 to 5x120
    (2) 25mm 5x112 to 5x120
They came with all the hardware as well so couldn't help myself, then picked up these with them.. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

And now Ive messed around to long to actually run the sawblades (until next summer) with winter fast approaching and living in the DC area they'll get beat to hell. So I again go crucially lucky and picked up 5 of these on CL for $50 bucks and quickly went to work restoring them. [IMG][/IMG]

Started restoring them myself and truly not as hard as I had expected.. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

And the first finished wheel (more to come)... [IMG][/IMG] Not to bad for a D.I.Y. job and my first attempt at refinishing wheels.

Thats all for now and my first post let me know what you all think, I will post more pics once she gets dropped this week and I finish up on the wheels Im halfway done and will be ordering the rubber for the Salad Shooters this week.

    Thanks, Colin

Ok so heres a quick update I got the car lowered and the springs are starting to settle finally. Threw some two piece AMG wheels from a w209 CLK on the car in the meantime until I finish off the salad shooters. Got the wheels for a steal $100 with tires, wheel specs are 17x7.5, 17x8.5; with 225/45/17 on the front and 245/40/17 on the rear. No rubbing in my fenders but still will have the rolled once I put on the staggered vette wheels. Heres some quick pics and a quick video from the day after the car was dropped. The car sits so low now and rides as good as it did before. Also put in a front sway bar out of a 500E

            http://s1221.photobucket.com/albums/...t=IMG_0432.mp4 (video)

Also picked up a super rare set of D-Zest Kaleidoscopes rims straight from Japan for super cheap on my local craigslist, with the original invoice from 2000!

PM me if your interested in them, Im more then likely going to sell or trade them on here soon.

Another quick little update..test fitted my new motorsport-tech adapters and its true you really do get what you pay for these things fit perfect hub-centric with all the hardware, and make the sawblades sit perfectly.. a little poke, but I plan on rolling the fenders. Heres some updates, sold the polished sawblades on vortex and picked up another set for $150! Sanded them all down and began painting them a satin beige to match the pin stripe. Finishing up clearing them but heres some pre-clear pics of one of the rears. Hope yall like them. Also finished up the satin white salad shooters still need to clear them though. Also had a headache with getting the 205 and 215 Falken 512's put on but finally found a shop that will stretch them in Woodbrige. Car should be done by next weekend!

Plan on getting black center caps hopefully before H20i
Test the custom adapters with the spare 9.5... you can see the purp Vogtland springs

Parked next to a stock W124 for shits and gigs at home depot

Nice w124, looks like the big brother to my '92 w201 2.3! Interior and exterior! I even did my grill the same! Check out my thread below.

Well the cars been up on a lift for two days now... Had to shave the inner wheel hubs on the Sawblades to make them fit my hubcentric adapters. Also hit a snag with the lugs, fronts fit no problem but am now having the rear lugs ground down to fit so they wont interfere with the parking break,,, so annoying... Thanks Motorsport Tech!

Anyway heres some pics of the finished wheels and the stretch on both the rears...

Went with 205/40/17 & 215/40/17 Falken 512's on the Sawblades and 225/50 Yokohama Avid's on the Salad Shooters... Just had those tires lying around but will be getting some Falken's for those soon too ...

Also picking up some WIDE ass 16in Epsilons this weekend on my way to h2o for a steal so those will be my next project wheels

Enjoi will post pics of the car once we get her off the lift so excited!

Its my daily but they might be coming out at least in the rear it rakes a little bit more then I like, but I might just keep them in and cut off a coil on all four corners well see once shes off the lift.

Not rocking the white wheels probably selling them to a buddy for his 300D. And they match the color of my pin stripe (you can see it in an above photo.) Plus I have always liked cream colored wheels.. something about em'.
