Default Rusty's smaller, older Japanese sister .. . Datsun 510 content

.
I joined StanceWorks because of Mike's photography and epic cross-country road trip, , . something about the rusty 4 headlight BMW reminds me of 510's

My friend Phil picked up this rusty 510, and got it running . .... .. then I traded a bunch of 510 parts, and cash for my new daily driver:

No... .. not that nicely painted 4 door. . . . . . look behind the white truck

Seriously. There's nothing wrong with being inspired by a story like Mike's cross-country trip and having the guts and conviction to attempt it yourself. I actually think that it's awesome that someone else wants to make the same trip. It always makes for a great story and a great chance for people to meet other enthusiasts along there way.

I say go for it. I like where your car is headed.

.
I had to drive 3.5 hours to work on it.... ..

the first day we spent 12hrs strait to swap in a 280zx 5 spd transmission ..... . . but had to pull the motor and 4spd,, cause we "thought" it would be easier

the second day I installed my shorter front coilovers, rear coilovers, new wheel bearings, bled the brakes .. . .. and tried some different wheels:
