Is that some fiberglass cloth on your header? Is it possible to use any kind of fiberglass cloth or is there one that resist to heat better? Nice car btw I always loved Miatas!

Yeah thats heat wrap, usually comes in 10m roles. I put it on as a mad effort to silence the exhaust as it was crazy loud and it has worked and silenced it more so than a back box would. But it is wrapped the whole way back to just behind the back bumper

Small update, brought a hardtop in from England and well the courier messed it up big time!
                      Went from this:

I done the repair myself with rattle cans and a spray can of Halfords Lacquer. Extremely happy with it as its my first time doing anything like it!
I still need to put on another coat of lacquer (waiting on the postman) and flat it and buff it, then I'll stick on my project-g rear wing!

The hardtop completely transforms the car, its much quieter inside and I can hear the stereo over the exaust now!ha But it feels even more of a go-kart now than ever!
Will have another update when I get the rear wing on!

I hope you got a few $ at least from that courier service?

Car's looking good. Stance is dialed in nicely, im not a fan of the black wheels though...also why is the trunk flat black?
