Lucky Number Seven
Number One:
Number Two:
Number Three:
Number Four:
Number Five:
Number Six:
And introducing, lucky Number Seven:
It's a 1982 525i, grey-market euro car. It's got some cool little trinkets that only the euro cars get, and I'm pretty excited about it. A euro-only color, it's probably the only one in the USA in this color. It's also a 525i, which wasn't offered here either. Everything inside is in german, and it has the euro non-AC console and such. Manual roll up windows too!
It needs a lot of things, but it is 30 years old. It's got terrible paint, some rust here and there... it needs some love on the inside too... Mismatched seats, a disgusting carpet, so on and so forth.
But I need a project, and I couldn't think of a better way to make a comeback.

I should also say it received an M30 when it was federalized. So it's a 535 in disguise.

It's Kastanienrot, or Chestnut Red. It's somewhat similar to the burnt orange on 350zs mixed with sepang bronze I'd say. It's absolutely beautiful, one of the main reasons I bought the car.

You said the paint is in terrible shape, yet you love the colour. Is the paint faded, swirls, scratched..etc? Can the original paint be saved?!
