So My friend Ricky and i at Bug Haus here in richmond Built a (resonator?) back exhaust today, using found bent pipe from a corvette exhaust and a magnaflow muffler...
cut the pipe right after the y bent tube and cut the big arse suitcase muffler out, *got rid of atleast 50 lbs with that piece alone*
then started cutting pipe and welding! lots of cuts and redo's for mis measured cuts.
but in the end it turned into this!
used a scrap piece of square steel and welded the hangars from the suitcase to hold the middle section up
Thanks for reading ! (or to some just looking!)
really good deep sound from the muffler, not loud at all in the cab. STOKED!

Nice I always love the feeling when you drive a project car home from the exhaust shop and get to listen to it for the first time

I love a good B5 wagon, such a clean car. Those MK5 wheels looks pretty damn good with it too, They're half the reason I want a VW.
Not sure how I feel about the plaid, I think there's probably something that goes a little better with the stock interior, but then, I've done crazier things (My friend's purple/indigo EK9 got a black-and-blue plaid wrap for some interior bits), but I look forward to this, a lot.
Just curious, what motor/drivetrain are you packing?

Wish I knew more about tires, but you should probably look for a VW guy around here, or at least a tire guy who can figure out your fitment.

Nice the RS's look good! After me and 4 other guys, I think you're the 6th passat to run RS's. Are you planning on running bigger lips or wider barrels on the stock lips? You need to poke those things out! If you have any questions on them let me know.
Here's a shitty picture, but inspiration for you.

Haha of course. It's just nice to know that we're not the 1000th car to run RS's like the mk4 community or any golf/jetta for that matter.
