I want to go ahead and first off, inform you that whether you are stating an opinion, or are trying to state fact, you indeed are very incorrect, sir. Gassers in no way, shape, or form are ever remotely close to the design, or style of car that a donk is. Gassers were built with a purpose, that being to go fast in a straight line. Why would they put a straight axle in them you may ask? Oh, because first off, that style suspension is lighter, and secondly to raise the car. Furthermore, gassers were built with the purpose of weight transfer in mind, which is why they are raised up, so they could put the engine as low, and far back as possible. Gassers are drag cars.
Donk's on the other hand, are cars that people put truck suspension on in hopes of chroming the underside, and throwing some big flashy retarded wheels on, throwing functionality aside. These vehicles serve no purpose other than being a basic mode of transportation, that someone wanted to modify in a horrendously ugly way.
Please do a little research before you talk shit about one of the most influential style of vehicle, which coincidentally existed in a peak era of drag racing, and was the main reason behind drag racings popularity in that era. Ever heard of the 60's gasser wars?
