Red '88 RX-7 vert. My friend Phil, who is actually a member on here, owns it now.

17 years ago, My great grandfather gave me his 198x vw rabbit deisel that had an electrical fire in the engine bay, I never got it running and finally gave it away for parts.

First running car (16 years ago) was an early 80's Datsun 610 gx coupe, and I can't even find a picture of what they look like, but I'm pretty sure it was ugly as shit. I sold that 6 months later and bought a 78 datsun 280z.

At the age of 14 I got my first "car-ish" thing, a Soviet built Zaz 968m from 1984. I learned to drive with it driving in fields and forests. It had a V4 engine and I did my first modifications to it - speakers, new custom carpet, awful paintjob etc.
My first REAL car was my first Accord Aerodeck 1989, which was actually my 4th car and I bought it when I was 15. Loved it so much, so I bought another one that sits in the garage right now. I've had lots of cars, but 3.gen Aerodecks have a very special place in my heart.

1986 4.3 liter Monte Carlo. It looked something like this, but with gray paint:

I got it when I was 15 and had it running and driving good. Then the front seal went in the tranny pump and I didn't have the money or knowledge to fix it at that age. I sold it for $200 and it was a sad day. I only got to drive it twice on the road.

Then I got a '99 Ford Escort and that was my real first car because its what I learned to drive on. 5-Speed, manual everything, no a/c, and just an am/fm radio.

Bought this 92 240SX at 14 with major engine damage

swapped the motor at 15, my mom's bf at the time helped and did the floor work for me, got the rockers done, still needed more bodywork around the windshield and never finished it, sold it as it was. Found it smashed in a junkyard about a month ago.

as soon as I got my license I bought a car from my dad that he only bought for a few engine brackets for his mustang that never fit. Put it together that day and and started driving it. '72 Ford LTD with 70,000 original miles.

Drove it for 3 weeks and the transmission started to go, then filled it with 91 octane which cleaned it out, blew a hole in the oil sending unit, and the exhaust fell off. All in one day.. Sold it and it is now being restored.

1997 BMW 328is (car in my sig). What a miserable POS it was when we bought it after an engine swap and suspension work, it's much improved.
