4th gear was selected as its ratio is 1:1
Atomospheric pressure: 1030 - 1064
Ambient temperature was 13.4°C
Correctoin factor 98.6%
All tests were conducted when the vehicles powertrain had reached operating temperatures
All unnecessary electrical systems were turned off
Air conditioning was turned off
Flywheel power is a preffered mesurement as it takes in to account the different gear ratios, final drive, wheel radius and tyre condition which would otherwise be unreproducable by any one else.
its a bmw e24 1987
265HP@4500 RPM 364.9 ft.lb@4500 RPM

This thread is usless with out dyno sheets, the shape of the power and torque says more about the car then just stating an arbitrary unit of unproven donkey power. at least GIR is on the right track.

Factory rated at about 140hp and similar torque. Considering the fact I can't break my tires loose in the pouring rain, I'm anticipating slightly less if I ever get dyne time...

48bhp when new.
it is only a 1098 a-series though, and it is 41 years old right now.
so i'ma go with.. say we lose one hp a year, so that drops it down to 7hp.. then dad did a little tuning, so we'll add 10 tentatively.
17! 17 hp.
