                    love the idea of a lathe, but if i may suggest something.
                    instead of a wheel barrow wheel, mount a wooden center with drilled holes so that the wheel would be secure. when i used to polish my style 5's it was a PIA cause i really needed to press hard with the sand paper every now and then. but if it works for you, awesome

                      Thnx for the tip, but it works for me. The wheel is somehow pulled down into the wheel barrow wheel by it self. I don't know how, but I pushed it up once and it pulled itself back down.
                      You sure have to press hard sometimes with the sanding paper to get all the corrosion out. That's for sure. And it works like a charm.

                          Got my nuts and bolts back. I had them de-rusted and zinc coated to rust proof them. They're coated and passified so in theorie they will be rust proof for 1000 hours in a salt bath. Will do for me, they will never be in a salt bath.
                          Now I have to make the heads shine and they'll be good to go.
