you're switch idea is great ! I have a real good feeling about the outcome of this. what size air tank are you going to run ? Dont forget to take pics of the bags & their brackets/ how you fit them.
My journey into bagging my 1990 300CE has officially begun. My part collecting so far includes a 5 gallon fatty tank, Viair 444c compressor w/ check valve, AirLift manifolds, 50' of 38 line, and my custom controller (see my pics). All I need now is a water trap, Firestone 2500 bags, and gauges. Really wanting digital gauges.

double bellow bags ftw! i hope theres enough clearance so theres no rubbing. Im also having a difficult time deciding on spending a lot for digital gauges or getting needle gauges. kudos to you!

I want it to be as inconspicuous as possible. I'm using a 5 gallon fatty. And pics will be posted!

Bag diameter is a major concern, anything over a 6.5" diameter is tight. I've found a place that sells a digital gauge with 5 senders and wiring harness for sub $200. PM for more info.
Small update, my digital gauge and senders showed up, my Compustar keyless/remote start/security showed up, and my Pioneer AVIC X910BT may be making an apearance. Bags are here, just waiting on plates and fittings now. In the meantime, I've leather wrapped my tank to match the interior, stay tuned!
