  • Does it have to be winter already?

Haven't been posting much here lately but figured I come back and see what's up! This will be the first winter I'm not driving my 528 as I'll be using my recently acquired M5 for winter since it isn't low and it has heated seats haha.

I'll be hitting 300k miles any day now with the 528 and the m5 is just over 100k.

Pics are from various shows and stuff from this past year

I've also been working on the interior of the 528, it started as a grey non-sport interior, converted it to black with a m5 center console and m5 euro armrest. Also got individual door sills and dyed the seats cinnamon, the seats are still a work in progress though. I have to have the dye finished and a matte top coat applied so they aren't glossy.

528 Suspension (front at least) doesn't Swap to an M5, But I would daily the 528, but it is beautiful and so much work on it I can see why you might pick the M5

        progress IS a slow process

+1 as to why you'd drive an M5 through winter and not a 528i.

528 looks good, but the M5 is so much more valuable in the long run, especially with low miles. I'd save that and ditch the lower-trim car, but that's just me.

Both cars look great dude. I couldn't daily either of them in the winter, probably why I daily a 91 Prelude...and it doesn't even snow where I live!

Thanks for the comments guys! And yea I know it doesn't really make sense to daily the m5 and not the 528i but my commute to work is less than 10 minutes so gas mileage really doesn't matter. While the weather is nice the cars split daily duty but winter will be M5 only and I'll store the 528 at my parents.

I plan to daily the m5 for the forseable future, it's just such an awesome car to drive and I can't see not driving it.

I also have plans of manual swapping and then either doing an engine swap or putting a turbo on the current engine of the 528.
