        The bay is on its way!😀

        Today I pulled the front crossmember and started stripping it;

        I also began cleaning the bay! I'll also need to make a new battery try hahaha; looks like the rust snuck in...

        More stuff coming this weekend!

          Spent most if this fine Saturday scrubbing the cross member clean; 53 years of grease; oil and grime took were tough to remove; but its better than rust!

          Heres the end result

          I also pulled the wiring harness inside the car; labelling it only took about 15 minutes hahaha

          Tomorrow i will be giving the cross member some primer and hopefully paint; as well as getting the engine bay further stripped ready for its paint!

          Getting very excited to have her ready for the engine!

            Got the front subframe primed and the underside painted in black. Just gotta give it time to cure now

            Also got the bay stripped; started to clean before the rust converter goes on and then primer. There are also a few holes that need welding.

            Should get some done this week in the evenings

              Bought something on a whim; I can just picture it hanging off the side of the engine!

              I immediately stripped off the carbs and started polishing the manifold

              More to come soon

                  So have been really busy stripping, patching, shaving and painting the bay. I finally got the fist bit of colour today and am very happy with it. Its the exact colour of the roof 😀

                  Lots happening and hopefully the rest of the bay will be finished in the next couple of days, meaning i can start reinstalling everything! 😊

                          Not much happened today; stripped the masking off and admired for a minute before I decided to get back to work.

                          Cleaned and got Some things painted before the rain set in refitting commences tomorrow!

                            Heres how the bay sits now
