        Unfortunately not. It was a beautiful car though, and I wish I had. Shooting shows with an 85mm lens means a lot of sitting and waiting, and I never had the opportunity to do so with that car.

        The turn out was huge, but there were a LOT of bone stock cars. Cars lined both sides of the track, the entire way around (1.5 miles)

            Love the 85mm but this is what I'd be afraid of. It was bad enough with the 50mm and people walking in front of you with no idea they are blocking your view...

              I used to get really annoyed with people getting in my way, until I realized they probably couldn't even see me because I was 15-20 feet away.

              For this shot, I literally sat on the ground and waited for most of the crowd to disperse around it (was right after he parked).

              I quite enjoy shooting shows with it though, you really have to think about composition and do more than just "point and shoot". And it's unmatched for detail shots.
