  • Changing from 1/4" to 3/8" lines on D2 struts

    Hey everyone,

So, I just ordered a 3P system with 3/8" lines and a set of D2 air struts for my 07 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

After sitting here for a bit, wallowing in buyer's remorse, I realized that the D2 air struts come with 1/4" fittings. Is it difficult to change it out for 3/8" fittings?

I found these on airbagit.com, but without the struts here, I'm not entirely sure what to look for and how to swap it out.

Anyone got any insight they can offer?

    Thanks.

The 3/8" fitting that reduces to 1/4" should work fine.

For those that see this in the future those will not work - D2 air struts use 1/8'' BSPT fittings, whereas the ones you posted are 1/4'' NPT.

Here is an example of some fittings that will work: BSPT Elbows
