e30 shortened struts

hey e30 guys i want to buy the ground control coilover conversion for my e30 but im unsure if i shorten my strut housings will i need to buy shorter struts? i have bilstien hd regular length struts and i need to know if i section my housings will they bottom out everywhere i go?

Simple answer is yes, you will need shorter shocks for shorter housings.

Some people use IX Bilstien shocks, a certain g60 corrado shock works, or even some mustang/camaro shocks. Not to send you to a different forum than Stanceworks but, on r3vlimited.com this topic has been covered extensively .

r3v will just give you BS for lowering your car! Just buy coils.... GC kit 699 plus struts 399 you should just add few more hundred and buy some real CoILS! TRUST ME! lol

Basically everyone on r3v with a slammed e30 is also on S|W, it just so happens there are better threads about this topic on r3v is all I was saying. Easier to find a thread and read it then wait for answers.
