lowering a e12

so im going to be picking up a 1979 528i and i wanted to know my options for slammed the sh*t out of my car...that isnt super expensive. I know there is a thread that talks about making a coilover conversion from the stock suspension for a e24 but i was unsure if it would work as well. i also saw that ground control has the coilover conversion for the e28/e24 and was wondering if maybe this would work...anyway someone please help out!

You could temporarily cut the springs. People look down on it but
It's really not that bad, considering they used to and still do it with muscle
Cars and older cars in general when they didn't have coilovers back then.
Broadway static might be able to fix something up for you too maybe!
