Do these look Chrome or Polished?

I am looking at picking these Work Equips up to restore... If they are polished I will get them... If they are Chrome they are going to be too much work. Let me know what you think. I think they are polished, but I want a few more opinions.

Does chrome even tarnish like that? I am hoping they are just old polished wheels that I can scrub down, do some sanding and repolish.

Just scrubbed off a bunch of crap on the faces, and I am pretty sure they are chrome... Bummer, going to be a bit more work now...

They are most likely anodized. Equip wheels normally have this finish.

Around the lugs, there is a flaking issue, so I think they are chrome.

Those are wayyyy dirty. But I don't even think they would've made polish Equips, so they'd definitely be chrome.
But the one in the pictures doesn't appear to have a terrible bubbling issue- the other 3 may.

Hard to say really, could be polished with a clear coat over them or its tarnished chrome. Im going with polish but thats my thought. Ask the seller if he knows for sure

Here is after a bit of cleaning... I think they are chrome... They have some flaking around the lug area. I know anodizing doesn't flake, Which leads me to believe that they are chrome...

I got drunk and decided **** it, and took some fine sand paper to the face of the one I have at home... What is an easy way to tell if I am dealing with Chrome VS Annodized? I sanded them a bit, took some polish to them and the towel turned dark... I know someone was saying that when you try to polish aluminum it turns the towel dark. I might as well take some pictures to post as I go about it...

Might be nice for future Equip owners who are dealing with this Shiz.
