  • No stance 911

Long time lurker, first post. Nothing extreme or aggressive for now, but I need some ideas on what wheels to put on next. Before you say it, I've already run Fuchs and I'm not going to be putting BBS RS's on this thing.

Car's not going any lower, either. I've driven it for quite some time, and running it any lower completely fucks up the handling. Function over form, eh?

I'm not a pro photographer by any means, but you get the point.

Rotated speedo and other gauges, but no rotated tach?

I vote for something silver. Beautiful car.

A set of silver HRE 505s with polished lips would be drool worthy.

I can see the Tach just fine, the steering wheel blocks the important parts of the speedo and oil pressure/temp, hence the rotation.

Agreed, I really want something silver/polished to match the targa bar and other chrome accents. Those 505's are the look I'm going for, retro styling, good suggestion!

Ah, that makes sense. I usually see 911s with the tach rotated so I was curious.

                Beautiful car regardless!

                  Correct! They are 15x7 square.
Typical for midyear 911's are 15-17. 17 inch is on the higher end of things, 18's start looking a little goofy, not to mention having a bit of tire is important on these older cars as it gives a little more cushion to the suspension. Especially true with my car in particular as I have swapped out the stock torsion bar/bosch dampers with much stiffer bars and Koni adjustables.

those BBS E30s are prime, I would get E50's if they didn't cost a small fortune.

Serious question, what is the point of the rotated gauges?

                          Steering wheel blocks my view.

Oh I see. I haven't sat in a old 911 before, and I've seen this on multiple 911s and always wondered. Good lookin car, I want one.
