Got her back into summer mode this past week, lowered it some more and put the wheels back on and headed down to Louisville Saturday for water by the bridge. Also picked up a new family member ... His name is Otto.

switched back to the winter wheels as the Ronals are now up for sale.... plus I think they suit the OEM look a little better...

So... quite a bit has been happening since I've last posted.... so heres some updates....
Split the ronals down... sent the centers off to Jason at 4EverKustoms for a refurb/new color...

bought wider lips for the rears (2.5").... now they are 8.5" wide


Got the centers back, repolished up all the lips, bought all new 12-pt chrome hardware for them...



assembled them and sealed em up.....

Bought a new car.... the coupe will be in the garage for an undetermined amount of time to receive some much needed attention....


Swapped the Westy front to the golf....


Bought a heckeblende and German postal tails for the golf...Guess I've got a thing for plastic butts...

A little test fit of the new rear width on the coupe... straight bolt up, no spacers...


and finally changed the golf over to 5-lug, so i could run the Ronals....




things to be changed in the near future:
DTM Cup mirrors will be going on... and I've got a set of Happich Pop-out windows coming as well.... also need to address the bumper/trim fading issue much like i did on the coupe, and Swapping the interior panels over to red-striped GTI bits and a few other minor things...
