  • The Oldschoolers - Car projects, furniture and more

    Hi guys!

I think this is the right place to talk about a recent project I started with two of my friends. We decided to join our skills and passions to start The Oldschoolers. Basically, we are going to show customers/our projects, buy/sell/restore rare wheels and turn random car parts into furniture!

Here's a few of the things that I personnally did so far:

    Crankshaft table:

    Engine block table:

    Camshaft lamp:

    BMW E24 shelf:

Nice, very unique idea for car enthusiast trying to decorate their garage or museum. I'm sure this will be the next big thing

I like the Tables. Will there be Glass or another material to finish it up? Some hammered metal or a butcher block would be cool I think

      progress IS a slow process

Hoping not to look like a thread jacker, but I created this for my brother in law's Bday; An BMW M20 coat rack

        Started off with this:

I cut the plate out of a log with a chainsaw myself. Too bad no one took a picture of that. Felt Über manly doing so...

Then I had to file and sand the shit out of it to flatten it properly. But hey, I can't complain for a first try...
Afterwards came painting, mounting, cutting and drilling ofcourse. But that's nothing special.

Log cutting aside, It's actually pretty easy to DIY. So maybe it will inspire you

Yes there will be glass. Could be something else depending what the buyer wants!

                  Very cool.

I spun a rod bearing in an EJ20, then cracked the head while disassembling it, so I turned it into a coffee table. It was always a conversation piece when people came over.
