Simple mkv

Lost my best buddy to a raised metal plate today in a construction zone. I think he's totaled but much more importantly, my bride to be is fine even with the impact and air bag deployment. The plate looked to be 1" thick and probably weighed as much as the car, and from the looks of it cracked the subframe in half. Bad times, hopefully it will all work out.

It's odd because I've driven over this plate multiple times and never experienced this issue before. I'm wondering if someone/something moved it.

We luckily are safe, I'm sure its totaled, insurance comes out tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about that. This sort of scares me as a mkv owner...

Did your axle or your frame crack? And were you notched?

Jeeze im sorry about your loss. Im guessing you weren't driving air'ed out. Kind of scary, but it could have been worse man. Time to move on to something else GL!
