Tire size
Newbish question but im will be running 18x9.5 +12 on the front, with a 215/35/18 and 18x10+14 rear, possibly with a 5mm spacer making it +9. question would it look weird to run a 215/40 on the rears and the 35 up front

I guess it depends what car it would be going on and how much clearance you have in the rear. The rears would look a bit more "meaty" and would be about 3.5% larger than the fronts because of the larger sidewall. I don't think it would look "weird", but I do think a 225/35 would be a better fit, personally. Same exact stretch without the extra height.
