Default e30: 1991 318is

SOLD

1991 BMW 318is

Clean Title
151k documented miles on working odometer
4 cylinder 1.8 m42
good on gas and runs very strong
5 speed with strong clutch
heat and AC work

What it will need, but does not affect daily driving:

right front ABS sensor near the tire is frayed. not necessary for braking but ABS is disabled.
small front oil leak developed near the bottom - could be the timing case cover or the crank seal leaking again.

Sold

The reason I am selling this car is because I own three BMWs. I would like to use the money to fund my project car.

The car has an excellent maintenance history with over $20k in documented records dating back to the ORIGINAL owner. I have ALL the paperwork. I understand that this is a premium price, but the car reflects that. A well maintanted e30 318is with all maintenance logs from the original owner is not common. Please no low ballers, as if you feel you can find a car just as clean for less, feel free to pursue that one instead.

The car has been my daily driver. Here is a list of the recent maintenance done at 150k to ensure reliablility. All parts are BMW OEM parts.

maintenance:

new fuel pump
new fuel filter
new thermostat
new fan clutch
new water pump
new upper and lower radiator hoses
radiator flushed and blue BMW coolant replaced
new timing chain, timing chain rails, and sprockets ( this was done as preventative maintenance to upgrade to the newer BMW timing chain rail design. I have the old rails, chain and sprockets to prove that nothing was wrong with the old setup) new timing chain tensioner
new front crank seal
new AC, alternator belts
new spark plugs
new valve cover gasket
magnetic oil drain plug
oil changed/new filter with Shell Rotella 15w-40
power steering fluid flushed and new ATF added

suspension/wheels:

cross drilled front rotors
ground control coilovers with camber plates
new 15x7 wheels with 3k miles on 205/50 falken tires ( I have new 15x8 Enkei 92 wheels I can sell you if interested. see pic)

interior:

rewrapped Mtech steering wheel
z3 short shifter
zhp shift knob
new shift boot and ebrake boot
new BMW floor mats
Alpine headunit with CD, USB mp3, AUX
All electronics work. All gauges in working condition. Mint dash, door panels, headliner, seats (except small wear on the driver's side bolster...see pics)

exterior:

Mtech front lip
authentic HELLA euro spec smoked glass projector headlights
euro grill
euro black kidney grill
euro trunk plate holder (needs to be installed)
The body is straight with a small nickle sized dent on the hood (see pics) The rear right taillight area has paint oxidation and clear
coat peeling. (see pics) Other than that, the car shines up well.

Other recent maintenance done by the previous owner has been wheel bearings, master and slave cylinders for the clutch system, and new oem muffler. No rust and a true daily driver ready to go.
