  • Need help with AC Schnitzers

I bought some AC Schnitzers and they had tiny little 1" lips so I decided to order biggers lips.

Wheels are 17s with 30 holes so that's what I ordered, 17" lips with 30 holes.

But when I received the lips, the holes didn't line up (see pics below)

My question is, how exactly do I order lips for my wheels? I know they're 17s with 30 holes, I figured that was all that's needed.

The only difference on the lips is the inside part is wider on the new ones.

BTW, these lips are for sale if anyone needs them!

You need to watch the measurements as well. Different wheel manufacturers will use different measurements.Let's take your Schnitzer wheels for example. You have the Type 2 which was made by Ronal, so only Ronal/ACT lips will work. The Type 1 was made by OZ and has different measurements and will work with any OZ lip.

Lips are not usually interchangeable among manufacturers. Some use the same suppliers, but you would still want to get the measurements and be certain that they match up.
Key things here - inner diameter(aka bore) of the lips(and barrels).
Bolt hole center to bolt hole center distance.

here you get Lips and barrels fitting your ACS Type 2. These are not genuine Ronal Parts but they will fit your wheels.!

You have to watch for the measurements you need.

Essential: Number of holes. Size of the hole in the middle. You also have to measure the middle of one bolt hole to the middle of one bolt hole on the other side of the lip and the diameter in mm of your wheel face.

May english is rusty so I hope you understand what I want to say.

              Thanks, you guys are awesome.

So I would need 17" lips with 30 holes with an inner diameter of 13.5"? Or should I measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the one across it?

New ones I bought are 14" or close to it

You will need Ronal(or Ronal compatible aftermarket) lips.
The inner diameter and bolt hole center to opposite bolt hole center must match up with your original parts.
Obviously, the outside diameter has to be a match too, unless you are resizing.
