  • Simply lowered. My E36 323i sedan.

Last year, I had to choose. Between good and bad, the bright side or the dark side. Some may say between beautiful and ugly. Or just high or low.
The decision was really hard. I couldn't decide whether to go really low with an AP suspension, or keep up the performance a bit with the Bilstein suspension.
As I always loved performance, I decided to go on Bilstein B14 suspension.
Somedays I regret it, but most of the time I really have fun with it. Drives great. And there are no constrictions at the daily drive.

But let's start at the beginning with staggered Style 23s and the standard M-Tech suspension.
I didn't change much. CCFL rings for the headlights, blue break callipers, Supersprint exhaust (two-pass of the 325i) and... some displaced stickers.

I also found some AC Schnitzer mirrors.

Really proud of my first ride ever, I drove it like this until last year, where I bought the Bilstein suspension - and some other changed came with his.

Another decision was the rear. How about a LTW wing? Or just a lip? Hmm.
Then I saw the spoiler I just wanted all the time. An Hartge spoiler with adjustable lip.
A friend of mine bought the Style 23s and I mounted the staggered Alpina rims (8x17 ET47 and 9x17 ET47) with 215/45 and 245/40 Hankook Ventus V12 evo. But I already knew that this wasn't for ever.
I found the wheels I ALWAYS wanted to drive. Style 21s aka "Throwing stars".
When to of the CCFL rings thought they could just stop working, I deinstalled them and removed some of the stickers and put on only three.

    And finally, I put on the Style 21s (8x17 ET20 and 9x17 ET22 215/40s all around)

I found the M-System 1 covers and tried them. Still not sure about it.

They stayed for about 2 Weeks I think - then I got my t-stars back from the paint job. BMW silbergrau of the M3 CSL.

A little trip to Den Haag NL:

    Lowered the rear:

    Yep - that's my ride.

I'm re-doing some Style 5s at the moment.

I tried myself polishing the nuts - seems like I'll do all of them myself instead of buying new ones for 200Eur

I hope you guys like it. Let the "lower it"-shouting begin!

Looks great on the Twists. Bring it down in the rear to make it absolutely perfect.

Needs to come down a lot more, but it looks good otherwise.

Thank you. I found it on the interwebz, some E36 Forum. :P
First I just wanted the E39 M5 lip on the trunk. But then I found this wing and .. fell in love.

Plans for 2014 are really simple:
                              GET MOAR LOW
I'll buy new coilovers in the next weeks. K-Sport.
And repaint some things like front bumper, hood, drivers door.

                              Here are some random shots...

Thanks for all the kind words
