Technology has come such a long way in the automatic transmission / heavy duty truck combo its insane. These things are smart man. Easy to drive and fuel efficient.

Well if it slows down for you dont hesitate to use driving as a backup plan. Once it gets into your blood its a wrap haha.

I don't drive either, but I own a diesel shop, so an increasing number of my friends do, they've always got a funny/weird story ready haha. Here's our rig, just for shoving trailers around the yard and an occasional parts run:
