Hi, I'm Alex, owner of www.lx-felgen.de from Germany - so my E24 is almost finished at the moment - so for next season there are just shorter struts for the rear axle and new wheels in 18" planned
I bought it in 08/2015 from a guy who bought about 50 Oldtimer from USA, but he was just interested in Oldies before 1945 so he sold me the E24. So there are nearly 200.000 miles on it, so the condition was not the best, but a lot better than the E24's you get in germany because of rust.
A thought about a paintshop, but I love that fucked up look, the burned paint from SoCal sun and all the details and nature of this piece of rolling metal
So nearly everything on this car got restored, only the engine insides are untouched.
Facts:
BMW E24 635CSI
Airride: Airlift Universal Struts from wagnair
Airride Control: Airlift Autopilot v2
Wheels: AC Schnitzer (8,5x18" & 10,0x18") // LX001 (9x17" & 10,5x17")
