Hi, Im looking for a good stretching tire in 205/45/17. Wheels are 17x9. I tried nitto neogens but they don't stretch at all. Im considering s drives in 195/45 or falken 912s in 205/45. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help.

S.drives are beautiful tires and would probably look good in 195/45 on 9J.
Would you consider maybe a 40 sidewall tire? They looks substantially better on 17 inch wheels and a 205/40 would get you just as much stretch as the 195/45.
If you however want to go for a less stretched look I'd definitely go for 215/40 over 205/45's. Toyo T1R's should be available in all those sizes as well which are by far my preferred tire.Offset ain't everything - http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...n-t-everything

Makes me nervous, I'm about to put a neogen 215/40 on a 10" and my tire guy said it would be no big deal. What made the Neogens not work? As for your tire choices, I have 205/40 S.Drive's on 8.5" and they aren't too stretched, probably run a size wider than 512's though so you're spot on on the sizing, they aren't real skinnyHAI GUISE
