Finding nothing to do with my Saturday evening, I drove an hour through the night to London for the Treffpunkt German Car Meet.
Having never been I had no idea what to expect, but on arrival the atmosphere was electric. Hundreds of beautifully modified and maintained machines graced the first floor of a well lit multi-storey car park.
As the name of the event suggested, it was primarily a German car meet, although vehicles East and West attended with the surprise of a Dodge Viper ACR.
Having sat in my wardrobe for many months, it became clear my old DLSR was on it's way out, but regardless of my rubbish snaps I left having met some awesome people and experienced some of the best of London's German scene.
