Well, I don't mean "ratchet" in a necessarily negative sense. My G35 was ratchet compared to Kyle's 350Z (and MOST G35s in all honesty), but I liked it. I drifted my car, scraped my car(not always on purpose), and drove my car. I maintained it and cared about it, but it was appropriately old(er) and because it saw motorsports, I didn't keep it pristine. I didn't do the whole hanging bumpers and mismatch paint foolishness, but different wheel sets, a few imperfections here and there and always ready to slay tires keep it in a different category than some of my VQ buddies with nicer cars
