depends on the occasion IMO, sometimes I've started at like 9am but thats only if its something like going to a music festival and getting drunk for the journey, and plus out in the sticks (rural) those people can drink like fish all day and drive home, and cops dont say shit, corruption is rife.

i went to the pub on christmas eve last year and got quite drunk
