Do RS 289 wheels have the same 12.25" bore as my RS 211 faces? Or do they have the 13" bore? I see that 289's were originally 18" wheels, and I don't want to have two 12.25" bore wheels and two 13" bore wheels.

When center bores are opened from 66.5 to 72.5, does that machining in any way harm the center cap hex threads?

Thank you Icana4dit, good to know that there are some faces with +/-50mm pads. And thanks again 1badg35, that pic helps a LOT.

A few additional questions. I'm looking at 16 to 17 upsized lips and barrels for these wheels. I've looked at hundreds of photos on the interwebs, and I'm seeing contradictory pictures it seems. I can't find consistent pictures of lips for instance. I'm not sure if it's because most people who sell them are using stock photos of 15" or 16" lips or what.

Could someone please post definitive 16 to 17 upsized RS'es?

        RS289/290 have the larger faces.
Machining the hub bore does not affect the hex threads.
