Default Nissan Micra K11!

Here it is! from day one and onward lots of pictures bit wont look that decent cause of my crappy phone camera..
Bit different but enjoy!

Started going a bit mad with the old matte black!

Added some pressed plates and a few stickers here and there

Gave it a decent clean when i had it then also tryed out a black grill

Old vs New

The time came when i had to do something about the engine bay so got to work on the cam cover

Went in with the yellow film but i wasnt that keen on it for long..

Did something about the ride height and went for a set of Tein lowering springs

Didnt do it that much for me so then i looked into the theory of fitting vauxhall corsa coilovers after hearing they fit with minor adjustments and ended up with this!

Ebay goodness!!

Reminded me of a hover craft before sorting out the back to match

After getting the rear corsa struts on it all went together preety nice!

Kept it as it was for a while and not much interesting happend besides some wind deflectors and Nissan headlight covers!

After a good clean had to get some shots of the drive clearence

Gatherd together a decat pipe and some Nissan March goodness

Got hold of some dials with a rev counter and also a reg plate surrond which i ended up selling on

Then the new tyres and wheels came Went for a different size as they wernt your average ''banded'' wheels

Fit preety nice but really need an adjustable panhard rod which i still havnt got sorted

Really did need arch roll at this point!

As you can see the panhard has been under some stress for quite a while, excuse the rusty underneath

Started to strip out the back for the hell of it

Had to get the panhard balance sorted out at this point as it got a bit wild, so sourced some offset bushes which are kinda helping till i sort the funds for a proper rod!

At this point it looked preety rad just sitting on the drive! swapped the wheels to the front for a while just to see how the offset felt

I then thought it was kinda time to sort the arches out which failed miserably lol

So then i thought id put the rubber rings back in the rear just to save my rubber!

Kudos for the gearknob!!

I got quite bored of the black grill at this point so put the old grill back on and did some colour coding along with moving a few pointless stickers

Thought id then get some preety pictures of it as im cool like that

Took the side bump stirps off then did a bit of colour coding inside

Got a cleaner grill also

SO this is how it is now, first stanceworks blog as im used to the little old micra forum sorry if its all a big bunged together but yea!

Attended a local jap meet and it got decent attention along with a few disturbed looks

Thats it for now

Cool little car. If I had this, I'd get some old school mesh wheels, and plan for a SR20VE swap!

Cool wee Micra!

Some wheels and a little lower would really set this off.

I'm not saying do it, because it's probably not the safest modification... I'm saying it can be, and certainly has been done...

Adjustable panhard rod. You need to be able to weld.

They're cable tensioners, used to.. well.. tension cables.

I haven't done it, but I've seen it done.
You cut the length of the tensioner out of the panhard rod, and weld threads onto the cut ends, and turn them into the threaded centres of the tensioner.. if it at all makes sense?

the centre can then be twisted to tighten up, or loosen the cable. In the case of a panhard rod, it lengthens or shortens it.

For the sake of around $150, and maybe the suspension that you kind of depend on - I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you're a very confident welder, and I've done some dodgy shit.

Not much new has happened, just bought the front down slightly and added some other bits such as some tint film and a two strap to go with the wheels.

Thats all for now, unless anyone has got some ideas of what i can do to pick it up a bit?

Bit short on cash also for now
