Default Rookie question. VU4 gauge plumbing

Hello everyone, Im new to the world of air, and I have a question regarding how to plumb your gauges into a system using a vu4 manifold and an avs switch box. I get the analog management pack from bag riders, and they dont really specify how to do it, but the fittings they gave me looks like they want me to screw the plugs in the vu4 out? Is this correct?

You should have 4/ .25" ports on the backside of the VU4 you can run lines off of for your gauges. Yes you will have to take the plugs out that are installed in the manifold.
