Shortly after selling my previous Subaru I was looking for something a bit more upscale. But still turbo and still AWD. I was limited by my price range and I wanted something reliable so Audi and BMW were out. I fell back into the subaru world with this car, and I couldn't have been happier.

My previous Suby. Sold in Nov of '08

I picked the LGT up bone stock from a local friend who was getting married and needed some quick cash. It wasn't exactly what I was originally looking for ( white wagon, black interior with a 5 speed) but it was good enough and figured it had good bones for what I wanted to do with it.

Immediately I started modding it. Catless Downpipe, Magnaflow exhaust and a new v2 accesport and a protune shortly followed.

Car was perfect! Or so I thought. Knowing I couldn't leave well enough alone it was time for some tunes. Shortly after the protune, I installed new speakers all the way around and began fabrication on a custom box for the trunk.

Car was perfect again and finally what I wanted to take to the office.

This doesn't last long... If anyone has ever owned a Subaru they know how terrible the paint is. This car wasn't any better and it needed to be changed for me to be happy again. It went to VP collision to have all the dents, dings and swirl marks taken out in way of new paint.

Wish I would have taken more pictures of the process.

With paint done and new wheels added the car was finally up to my OEM+ standards. It was exactly what I had planned for the car when I had orginally purchased it.

There were a few more additions body wise shortly there after. Lip spoiler and a front lip.

Removed the amber from the headlights, and picked up a new project.

It wasn't long after that I decided to upgrade the brakes.

Snow came and went. As did more pictures and FMIC.

And winter of '10 came yet again.

With spring of '11 fast approaching it was time to change some things up and step back into the aggressive fitmet scene of things.

I picked up some suspension goodies and looked for a set of wheels that would fit with what I wanted out of the car.

Along with my new coils (Sorry no pics)

The car was finally on it's way to proper fitment.

            Rears installed

            Alittle bit of fitment issues.

            Finally solved!

It still wasn't low enough though...

With the fitment settled it was time for MORE power.

I began piecing together my latest power additions.

                    And started tearing her apart

Had it tuned again and I couldn't be happier. The perfect daily driver!

And here's how it currently sits. Ready to be put away for winter to start something big for spring.

I guess I forgot to add this in there at some point but the entire interior was recovered in black alacantra at some point in the past year along with the addition of some red LED 'mood' lighting.

Always good to see a legacy on here. A gorgeous one at that. Very nicely modded. I really like whats been done with the interior, and the box in the trunk. I agree 100% with subaru paint sucking, I have had many, and own many subarus and they only ones with good paint, have been repainted. Great work.
