  • 1999 BMW 740iSport (19" vs-xx, c/o, etc)

-thinking of getting rid of my daily, got a work truck to park this thing and use it on weekends only. rather have something else for weekends tho. this is a nice daily, just not practical for me being a diesel mechanic.

    INFO ON THE CAR:
-1999 BMW 740i Sport ( real iSport, vin# and all options prove it) cold weather package. titanium silver with black leather interior. no cracks rips tears or abnormal wear on the interior. car has 178,xxx miles on it. all receipts on what was done since it was new, all work done by the same independant foreign sports car shop. im the 3rd owner, had it for 6-7 months, my friend was the 2nd owner for only 3 months. original owner was an elderly couple in valencia CA.

-heres what ive done to it since ive had it in the last 6 months: alternator, belts, coolant hoses, fan clutch, spark plugs, oil change (run on synthetic since new), 3000k HID high beams, black grilles, front brembo drilled rotors, akebono ceramic pads all around(virtually dustless), new power steering pressure hose, new tension rods on the front suspension, nex full adjustable coilovers, 19x10.5 and 19x12 work vs-xx wheels, pioneer premeir head unit, polk audio components up front and polk co-axials in the rear, US Amps 4- channel, alpine type-r 12" sup in ported box with older sony amp. im sure theres some more, thats off the top of my head.

EXTRAS: car comes with stock wheels/tires, stock struts/springs, all of the stock stereo shit, and a gallon of silver chromabase with reducer and a gallon of chromaclear with activator. its the same paint thats on the centers of the wheels so it will all match perfect. only thing this car needs at this moment is a repaint. couple dings, chips, scratches on the car, plus the fenders were rolled n pulled to clear the tires and i chipped the paint being careless because of the planned repaint.

PRICE/LOCATION--looking to get 11k as it sits now with all the extras. ill end up painting the car in the next month or 2 and raise the price a bit accordingly. might part it out and sell wheels and coilovers seperatly if someone wants the car stock. if you dont like the price, tough shit. ive got 7k into the car in the last 6 months, not looking to give the car away by any means. dont send me a link for a 740il thats going for 3k. located in ventura county. (a hour north of los angeles CA) considering trades, mainly classic chevys (58-62 impalas pretty much, but throw out an offer)

        Love the car...

May be interested in the coilovers if you decide to part it out.

Are there multiple versions of NEX coilovers for the E38? Let me know which ones you have and a ballpark of what youre lookin to get for them.

They make 2 different versions. Non adjustable dampning and adjustable. Non adj is like 650 iirc and adjustable is 850. Paid just under a grand for these plus sales tax n shipping. Hows 600 and split actual shipping.?

Fact, you should be banned from SW if you dont like the E38. True story.

still have it, did a bunch of maintanence shit to the motor, new engine and trans mounts, raised them up a bit to protect the oil pan and trans. also raised the exhaust in the process. upgraded the stereo a little more. pair of 12" IDMAXs in a slot ported box and a memphis 2000rms mojo amp.
