  • My new big red whip

Well the day I sold my e36, I found this e28 for sale online and NEEDED it. Usually I would at least sleep on it and then decide the next day if i should get it or not but I just needed this damn car.

She's just a 2.8L at the moment, but I am keen to drop the 3.5 in it some time very soon. Came with recaros, LSD, 5 speed, so all it really needs is more power... and lowering..

What else do you guys reckon I could do to get this car looking "the piece?"

Keep the skirts? Take them off?
    Different wheels? ( i kinda like the bbs's )

Lowering for me is certainly the first thing to do.

Sorry the pics are rubbish, it's a the rubbish day so I wasn't going to waste time trying to take decent photos.

    Comments much appreciated!

I think I will take the kit off. Anyone know how hard it is to do?

Wonder what the chances are of me needing the new exposed parts repainted...

Looks super. I'd actually try to find the Pfeba airdam to finish off the kit.

            This one:

It's not the easiest thing to find, but if you can't, I'd take the rest off. There are other Pfeba airdams, but that's the only one that fits the late valance.

If you go without, paint the lower part of the valance, below the turns/fogs black, like it should be. If you remove the sideskirts, that part should be black, too.

Good luck! Love the wheels, btw.

as far as the bbs, get wider lips and take the tires down a size. ie 225/50 to 215/45

CLEAN e28. I'm debating whether or not the skirts would look bad slammed. I say, slam it, then make a decision about the skirts.
