Yeah, they're pretty strict, but it was my own fault, I was driving pretty damn low.
Such is life, will have it back on bags tomorrow night most likely.

Come to America. We have no rules. And plenty of fast food.

That's got to be a pain in the ass. Does it happen often?

I've been to America, you guys are damn lucky. Would move over in a heartbeat.

It's the first time I've been done personally. So we'll see how many times it happens again.

Word. I rarely see anyone have police issues over vehicle modifications.

So I take it they inspect the whole car to clear it again? Can you drive it until they inspect it?

It is a common thing here in Australia. It's shit. But shit happens.

Yep, whole car is inspected, but I'm really glad I hadn't got that notch at the front that is for sure. When the notch happens, it'll be even more difficult to get it off of a defect which means I will be driving around on steelies and aired up on a daily basis.

I can drive it for forty eight hours after the defect has been issued. Such is life!

Aus is alright, just need to play your cards right. Could have had a massive fine, but because the cop couldn't see the bags, I was winning.

                    Bahaha thanks man!

Defect is all cleared. All went well. Air setup will go back in tonight/tomorrow morning so I can roll hard Sunday to a cruise. Then back to stockies and a decent daily height. Going to wind down the fronts a bit I reckon, and then the notch, so will come back lower.

                      • So, the car is back on the floor with the aid of it's air suspension.

This time I actually took photos, and with the help of Sam, it was a quick and easy job.

                        Tank setup in.

All the hidden wiring had to be reconnected, which sucked.

So that was the trunk setup done for the front struts. Only having two axle stands makes it a little difficult, but such is life. So the original struts came out and the air struts went in.

And then it was back on the floor at the front.

I didn't get any photos of the rest of it unfortunately, I had to hurry up as Mum needed to get to her car. Suffice to say, it took about half an hour to get the rears in and everything bolted back up to head out to Hungry Jacks for some lunch.

But, we're back on air and hopefully not getting defected any time soon as I'll be driving a little higher with stockies on on a daily basis.

Yeah, from now on I'll be rolling on stockies and aired up for dailying unfortunately. But, will be putting on the RS's for weekends and meets.

Have to be over here. Cops love to defect low cars, but such is life, we deal with it and the plan is to always come back even lower. So I will be. Hopefully organising a chassis leg notch in the next week or too, maybe even from Oxer himself if he has the time when I'm in Melbourne.

Thanks for the love though man, I appreciate it!

All of this. Such a pain to swap wheels in and out I'm sure.
