only 77,000 miles on the odometer? guessing someone swapped earlier, but why for another diesel? otherwise, things got another 150,000 miles left on it, so I say bag it up!

looks good, i would love to know what your doing to lower it. Right now on mine i am running some newer wheels off a c230, they don't look bad. Currently im trying to source a set of classic campagnolo wheels, hopefully these, and I have a fried who has a machine shop so i could get creative with the paint/finish.

mmm those are hot..
well the biggest issue with getting a 190 low is the front strut. No one makes one short enough unless you go the coil route. Like ground control. So my solution is simple..

the picture links r dead, but this is my solution. Good thing that e36 strut housing bolt up to a 190 or else id be in trouble.
right now im just on chopped 124 springs. i had a h&r cup kit, but theyre just to soft

Not much to update. Finally tracked down a fuel leak, power washed the bay & wheel wells. Starting to piece the interior back together. Dashboard is in, and just mocking up the console and electronics to make sure everything is working.

Cluster needles in orange with amber bulbs.
Need to hit the yards so I can get some carpet and a headliner then should be ready for the streets.Last edited by UberPare; 10-10-2013, 12:45 AM.

Since I visit here once in a blue moon figure I drop by. Super slow build as I only work on it when I feel like it. If I started driving the car nothing would ever get done. Haha.
Here's a little influence tho. Wanted to build a kind of dtm inspired street cruiser.
little driveway shot
One thing I did do though is install some 55w HID's I had lying around the garage. No high beams though.... Not really a fan of hids on anything, but projectors. The light output though is worth it for the safety factor.
Was able to stealth mount them in the front bumper with some hid brackets. Then cut a small hole with a grommet and pulled the wires through under the headlight. Hopefully condensation doesn't build up.
As for the hood still debating my options. Got my welder at home and shaved the spray nozzle, but unsure if I want to respray it. I was thinking about ordering paint from PaintScratch, and doing it myself, but trying to match the old faded paint would be impossible with a spray can. I need a nicer trunk anyway so if I come across anything in the yard I'll probably grab those. Leaving me on what to do with the current hood? Maybe spray it olive to match the bumpers?
Chopped on a 2nd set of wheels im thinking of. Crown Vic Mesh. 16x7 +6
Should sit almost identical as the Centra's.
If you can tell here the complete rear section of the car has been reprayed. It's the right color, but whoever was the backyard mechanic did a horrible job with matching and blending. On the passenger side you can see an uneven spray job that really irritates me. I was able to color sand what they tried to blend on the door, and restore the original paint. Most likely I'll do the same on the other side.
Oh and since I saw Williammk1's 190 this morning had to try on the starion wheels. In gold of course. Dig it so much might just have to pick up a set myself.

Thinking about jazzing up the interior with a moon eyes pedal, and volt meter. Probably use the gas pedal as a dead pedal instead.
Never had good luck with batteries in the e30. Hopefully this will change that. Having installed an amp/sub with HID's is probably why. I do like my music loud.
