Big Black Brick
Hey Stanceworks! Im Gene, I go by Gene, but yall can call me Joe. LOL j.k
N E who.. I picked up this sweet 85 244 volvo aka Bentley(gf nicknamed him that ) Well i bought it about 3 months ago for 700 smacks. Since, I've cut the springs, changed the rear springs to coilovers(need to put the fronts on ), tinted the windows, added a system, bought lug conver apts and painted the chrome grill. I want to Stance it, but im not sure what wheels. I really would like something similar to Work Equips (Steph's BMW Bavaria) style. I want to K.I.S.S(Keep.It.Simple.Stupid) and stay far away from steelies and racing style wheels.
Suggestions/ Photoshops is greatly welcomed:
Sorry for the phone piks.. No dig cam..
these aren't equips, but something like this
Suggestions quick before this takes place LMAO

P.S I may be Black lol ^

Lowdown89 & Yogi:
Thanx man.. Dude this car is the slowest thing I've ever driven, but i absolutely love the attention it draws. I guess around ATL everyone is use to civics and 240's, but the volvo brings a breath of fresh air.
Though i want to go moar loar. at least 2".

Just ordered 2 Summit Racing "Sport Truck Shocks" for the rear to compensate for the 300lb springs back there. LOL the stock blown shocks didn't work that well

Nothing HA In the last 2 weeks my car has went from "hero to zero." The previous owner hacked my dash harness to hell and back. The entire tail lights are wired in series with one power wire(really thin speaker wire) being its power source. Also, the brake sensor is crossed wired with that and continued to the battery on the same tiny wire. The radio wires are also screwed. Whenever i plug my car charger in the cigarette lighter the radio goes off.
There are numerous other wiring woes along with the ones stated above. This does not include that both of my front doors broke(fixed) on me from trying to unlock my car to get my keys. So, i had to break my rear quarter glass in-order to get them. Then, just yesterday my bolt that holds down the rear coilover sleeve decided to kamikaze down the road lol .. SO, I'm up to the highest point of being finished with this car to say the least.

Honestly, I would dude but i'm scare as shit with wiring. I've never tackled anything like that before. There is like a thousand Volvo 240's (one my exact year) in the yard too, but i don't feel competent
