  • Can't lay frame when airred out on w201 Gnarlow Kit

    Hey everyone,

    I was hoping you could help us with a kit we are installing on a W201.

    I wanted to bag my car because I wanted the rear wheels to tuck, here is how it looked like when sitting on cut springs:




    This is the current setup:
    1990 Mercedes 190E
    - OEM control arms
    - SS-5 Bags
    - Shocks were replaced with very short ones, unsure of which car they came off - I pulled them out of a pile of shocks with the same sized eyelets, they fit perfect, and they're nice and short.





    Solved - Going with the Common Wealth V2 kit.

    Looks to be that either the upper bracket, or lower bracket are too long and not allowing the car to fully drop before the bag is fully compressed. Shortening the brackets should help

      Cut the upper bracket and it worked, car sits flat on the ground now, thanks!
