Opel Corsa B 1.2 16V first car (Vauxhall, Chevrolet Corsa)
Took a spontaneous trip to Raceism!
First I wanted to go to a local Drift meet on a racetrack with a girlfriend, then I told her that Raceism is this weekend too (just for fun) and we ended up taking my Corsa to Poland! 430kms one way with a little car on TA Technix coilovers with almost 0 suspension travel. But it made it without any problem.
Started 14:30 here and got there 19:00:
Sadly the coffers were closed, so we just walked outside the stadium and watched a bit of the drift and the cars which parked next to the stadium:
Then we slept next to the stadium in the little Corsa, only 5 hours but better than nothing. In the morning I got some gas for the Corsa because its so fuckign cheap in Poland and then we waited in front of the stadium till the coffers opened (11:00). Parked the Corsa in front of the stadium:
And here are all my pics which I took, I saw a few cars which I saw here on Stanceworks before. It was really cool to see them in person.
This thing was insane:
The toe in the rear, rip tires:
Saw this thing here before:
Daaaaamn:
On the drive home we stopped at McDonalds together with LexxyRoxx :
I wanna go next year too, but then Friday and the whole weekend
Finally got the tires mounted with the tire booster!
In comparison to the 165/40 R16 on 6x16 (daily wheels):
Iam in love:
Front needs a bit more low:
Back needs camber plates:
I hope my -2.5 degrees camber plates are enough and I hope that I get the front lower with still some spring travel... Otherwise its driving extremely shitty.
I got the front 1cm lower today. I the evening I mount the wheels again and take a picture with them... Because at the moment its so fucking hot and Iam sweating from raising the car up.
The suspension is a bit stiffer now but still better than with the KW coils.
As you can see (because of the rubber dust cover thing) there is not much shock travel left:
Today I made the paint look a bit better, I hope it lasts longer than last time... Should be good for the meet next sunday:
Next thing is gonna be interior, i want to put black velour door covers in which came stock in some models and then put brown leather seats from a tigra in. For the back Iam gonna think a bit, maybe I throw the seats out because no one is sitting in the back anyway...
